History of Jaipur

The history of Jaipur starts with the Jaipur Empire after the wealthy and successful Empire of Amber. Maharaja Jai Singh II established Jaipur.

There is no suspicion that Jaipur city is a well-designed metropolis, as its creator was a renowned astronomer and mathematician. Vidyadhar Bhattacharya was a Brahman scholar belonging to Bengal.

He assisted Sawai Jai Singh in preparing the city's architecture.

The way the Jaipur people celebrate festivals is also very different. Their main festivals are Teej, Gangor, Chasku Fair, Chhat ka Mela, Diwali, Holi, etc.

Jaipur climate

Jaipur has a monsoon-exploited, hot semi-arid climate. The average annual rainfall is around 64 CM due to the monsoon season. During monsoons, there is often heavy rain and thunderstorms.
